I’m Cisco McCarthy — a filmmaker, visual storyteller, and Principal Creative Director at Microsoft. For over 20 years I’ve been chasing light, framing moments, and finding new ways to tell stories that move people.

As an Emmy Award-winning director and cinematographer, I’m also an avid photographer who’s constantly exploring how images shape the way we see the world. Recently, I’ve been diving deep into AI-driven photo and video tools, experimenting as an early adopter to push the boundaries of what’s possible in visual storytelling.

At the heart of it, I believe every frame matters — whether it’s captured through a lens or conjured with code.
